Any illness or injury that showed symptoms before the waiting period ends. If your dog limped once 3 years ago, knee issues might be excluded for life.
Curable Conditions
Some insurers reinstate coverage for 'curable' conditions (like ear infections) if the dog is symptom-free for 12 months.
