How to tell if your dog has fleas
The White Paper Test
Brush your dog over a white paper towel. If black specks fall off and turn red when wet, that is 'flea dirt' (dried blood).
Treatment
Oral or topical flea prevention from the vet. Baths only kill adults, not eggs. Treat the home environment too.
