Most dogs are somewhat lactose intolerant. Small amounts of low-lactose cheese (like cheddar) are fine for pill-hiding, but too much causes diarrhea.
Blue Cheese
Never feed blue cheese (Roquefort, etc). The mold produces roquefortine C, which is toxic.
